Im Mai 2019 war eine der grössten Lokomotiven der Welt, der UP Big Boy 4014, erstmals wieder unter Dampf zu sehen. Anlässlich des 150gsten Jahrestags der Eröffnung der Transkontinentalen Bahn dampfte der Koloss von Cheyenne, Wyoming nach Ogden, Utah.
In May of 2019 UP Big Boy 4014 steamed again for the first time in 60 years. It ran from Cheyenne WY to Ogden UT with overnight stops in Rawlins, Rock Springs and Evanston. The double header train included UP 844 - another big steam locomotive. I was on Bus chasing the train all the way to Ogden. We had plenty of opportunity for video and still pictures.
